Lebara:)

Folks,
Lebara has taken a stupendous feat by bringing the price further down. Some time in your life you brain refuses to agree to what you senses comprehend. In this case, it is hard to believe on you eyes (while reading this mail / or the sms u would have received) that calls to India is free in terms of time concept.
So either you call last for a minute, an hour or so forth, you are charged same irrespective of time. Eventually, what you are charged for is connectivity (flag fall) @ 25c/call.

A little bit of research reveals that Lebera uses Vodafone as MVNO, a time-multiplexing network. In terms of call longevity, Vodafone provides a stable infrastructure, there are fair chances that you call will last from 30 mins to 120 minutes without a drop. It’s a boon for long distance 'long callers'.
The tester in me somersaulted and I made a first call and it lasted for net 33 mins dot and then dropped of. Alas!. I abused and abhorred Lebara.
I made another call and talked and talked and then decided to drop myself after 2hrs 29 min with a good feel.
Phew! Too much of talking for a day.

Besides, on a $10 Recharge you get a $2.5 extra. Mathematically, you are able to make 50 calls on a $10 Recharge, which is a decent figure to last for more then 2 weeks (4 me).
Let me know if someone has better plan / thoughts.

Signing off on good note,
Deepak
